I am an associate professor of philosophy at Fordham University. My main research areas include Kant, German Idealism, and Early Modern Philosophy. In 2018 I was a guest professor at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and in 2015-16 I was a Volkswagen/Mellon Fellow at the Dahlem Humanities Center at the Freie Universität Berlin.
Currently, I am working on a project regarding notions of life's meaning in Kant. I am a co-organizer of the New York City Workshop in Early Modern Philosophy as well as the organizer of the Fordham philosophy department’s German Reading Group.
